Columbus Park Crossing South opened in 2007 and has over 225,000 sf of retail, including Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, T.J. Maxx, ULTA, Kirkland’s and Petco. Outparcel users are Shogun Japanese Restaurant, Red Robin, Wells Fargo and Southern States Bank.

Columbus Park Crossing and Columbus Park Crossing South are the center-point of Columbus Park, a 380-acre planned mixed-use development located in North Columbus. Columbus Park Crossing is a 750,000 square foot community center directly across from Columbus Park Crossing South and features 11 anchors, 17 restaurants/eateries and a mix of national and local retailers.

A 175,000 square foot Super Walmart and Sam’s Wholesale Club are adjacent to Columbus Park Crossing South.

Columbus is home to some of the region’s most successful businesses including Aflac, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia, Exide Technologies, FedEx Ground, KIA and Kellogg to name a few. It is also home to Fort Benning, a self-sustaining military community, which supports more than 120,000 active-duty military, family members, reserve component soldiers, retirees and civilian employees on a daily basis. Columbus State University, a part of the University System of Georgia, is located in Columbus and has an enrollment of more than 8,200 students.
