Mariah Stone Klein named ICSC Georgia State Director


ATLANTA (May 2012) Genesis Real Estate Advisers, LLC is proud to announce that the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) appointed Mariah Stone Klein as ICSC Georgia State Director for a one-year term beginning May 2012. In this volunteer role, Ms. Klein will represent the interests of owners, developers, investors, marketers and other retail specialists across the state of Georgia.

Mariah Stone Klein serves as the senior leasing team member for Genesis Real Estate Advisers and is responsible for third-party, mini-anchor and small shop leasing. In addition, Ms. Klein assists in generating and servicing the company’s new development projects.

Prior to Genesis Real Estate Advisers, Ms. Klein served as Leasing Representative for CNM Associates and then Senior Vice President of Leasing for Ben Carter Properties, where she managed a portfolio of more than 1.5 million square feet of retail space. Klein’s expertise in research, analysis, qualification and client relationships helped complete renewals and new leases for CNM. Klein has additionally held construction, development, leasing and administrative management positions with Ahold Real Estate Company, Marriott Vacation Club International, and Danka Business Systems.

During Ms. Klein’s term she will oversee all state committee communications, as well as all volunteer and program activity within Georgia, including the Southeast ICSC Conference held annually in Atlanta.
